NEW OIL. NEW CUT. SAME CALLING..
Sometimes the outside finally catches up with what God has already been doing on the inside. New oil. New cut. Same calling—just less weight to carry into the next season.
NEW OIL. WHO DIS?
I cut it ALL off—and somewhere between the clippers and the mirror, I realized this wasn’t about becoming somebody new; it was about having fun with the woman God has already been transforming. Isaiah 43:19 says, “Behold, I will do a new thing,” and apparently I said, Well Lord, let’s make it obvious! New season, new look, new level of freedom—but the same calling, the same fire, and a fresh confidence to match. I’m learning that everything from the last season doesn’t need to travel with me into the next one. Some things you pray off, some things you grow out of…and apparently some things you CUT OFF! So yes, the hair is gone, but baby, the oil is still here. New oil. Less weight. Same God. And I LOVE IT HERE.
